On December 1, the park playground will close for renovation. The new playground will open in February 2021.
All park patrons are urged to follow established guidance on personal hygiene, hand washing and the use of hand sanitizer. Those exhibiting symptoms of illness are strongly encouraged to self-isolate and limit personal interaction outside of their homes. Park visitors must maintain 6 feet of separation from others and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
Eastmonte Park is one of the City’s premier parks and is home to the Altamonte Baseball Academy, racquetball and tennis programs and Special Needs activities. The park features great amenities including:
- Three Picnic Pavilions
- Four Indoor Air-Conditioned Racquetball Courts
- Five Lighted Baseball Fields, three with Artificial Turf Infields
- Batting Cages and Pitching Lanes
- Playground Area with Handicap Accessible Features
- Lighted Tennis Court
- Bambino Buddy Ball Field
- Outdoor Basketball Court
The George C. Perkins Civic Center is available for receptions, banquets, conferences, meetings and other community events.
